Municipal & Local Courts

Jordan D. Yuelys has extensive experience defending drivers throughout New Jersey and New York. Jordan can work directly with you to protect your rights and driving privileges.  For many drivers, the phrase ‘traffic violation’ might seem almost insignificant. However, a traffic violation could lead to penalties that are far more serious than a minor fine, as they can affect your ability to drive, create insurance and motor vehicles points and surcharges, which can affect your job and even your ability to obtain insurance.

Traffic Violations Can Have Serious Consequences

A violation can add points to your driving record and risk the suspension of your driving privileges. You can face substantial fines and increased insurance premiums. Therefore, your defense is worthwhile. When you hire us, we will represent your individual interests in court. We will also advocate for you in safety hearings if the DMV attempts to suspend or revoke your license.

Jordan D. Yuelys defends his clients charged with any of the motor vehicle infractions, including but not limited to:

  • Speeding (whether only 5 mph over the speed limit or 100mph over the speed limit)

  • D.U.I/D.W.I. (liquor or drugs)

  • Driving while suspended or revoked

  • Reckless Driving

  • Careless Driving

  • Driving without a license, insurance or registration

  • Failure to obey traffic signs, lights or laws

  • Leaving the scene of an accident

A little over a month ago I got pulled over and received 5 citations. Speeding 35+, Tailgating, Careless Driving, Improper Use of Headlights and Driving in the Left Lane. Fines were about $750 plus 14 points. I was literally panicking and didn't know what to do. Called 2 other lawyers before Jordan and they said my license was gone for sure. Jordan on the other hand didn't do what other lawyers did. He actually asked about my personal life and comforted me all while giving examples of cases. HE NEVER PROMISED ANYTHING but he did exceed my expectations. I thought MAYBE 4-6 points but Jordan literally worked magic. I couldn't see him before court because of work but I did call into the office plenty of times and even his assistant was very calming. During court the moment he walked in he was talking to everyone (lawyers, cops, judge), he's very outgoing and it did help that the court was in his town. Jordan was my first lawyer and I can't be more happy with the results and if I ever for some reason need a lawyer he's the guy. Literally a god sent. Also for anyone wondering I still paid a huge fine but I was glad to pay it and get it all over with. He also hung around and conversed with me and my friend about sports and other things. Overall a great lawyer and an even better person! Thank you Jordan!

Jordan represented me at the Palisades Interstate Court, a court that nobody wants to have to go to!! Jordan had impeccable professionalism. Jordan explained to me all possible scenarios with fines, etc. and made sure I was well informed before meeting with the Prosecutor. His confident demeanor enabled me to feel comfortable that we were approaching the case in the best way possible. Jordan was able to get me a dismissal which wasn't even something that I thought would be a possibility. He requested very specific details from me in regards to the events that transpired prior to my summons and was able to pinpoint what we needed leverage. Jordan's transparency was important especially since I was nervous and wanted to understand all possible outcomes. If I ever had to go to any traffic court I would definitely consult with Jordan and if it was in NJ or NY he would be hired immediately. It's funny because when we left somebody tracked him down to ask for his business card! Thanks JY
